Games From The Future

Session 1: July 8-19, 2024

Games From The Future

If a time machine brought back Games From The Future, what would we find? This studio propels students into a creative exploration of futuristic worlds and games. We will envision and design games for a speculative future, drawing inspiration from science fiction stories and media. Perhaps, in the future, every kid will have a robotic pet companion that responds to voice and touch, or toy cars will start defying gravity. By using fabrication techniques and simple robotics, students will be inventing their own versions of games from the future.
